Anyone who talks shit about the Orioles or the Astros can sit the fuck down right now. It would be easy to just throw in the towel when you’re 25 or 30 games from first, but they don’t. They could just give up and lose every single game, but they try, and they never quit. They believe in themselves, and honestly it’s easier for me to respect them than most first place teams.

it also breaks my heart when i have to defend why i like my team to people. like i should just give up and find a new team because we’re bad.
people who think it’s acceptable to find a new team because the one you like is “bad” should not be allowed to watch sports at all.
